Power and Connectivity - redundancy means reliability
The creators of the confluence Technology Center set out to strengthen and diversify the economy of Chelan County and North Central Washington both by building on the region's existing technology sector and by attracting new technology-driven businesses to the area. The result is a building uniquely equipped for the demands of the future.
POWER: Why it is so reliable
REDUNDANCY: The CTC is plugged into a power grid wit built-in backups. In the unlikely event that power is interrupted, electricity is automatically rerouted to the CTC on Chelan County PUD's distribution system. In the even more unlikely event that power cannot be rerouted, the CTC maintains two of its own diesel generators to ensure the building's continued power supply.
If you need networks that can transmit large amounts of data reliably and without interruption, then there may be no better place to do business. The CTC also features a direct connection to NoaNet (www.noanet.net ), the region's open access network. This opens the door to low-cost, high bandwidth connections to locations throughout the Northwest. Operate like you're actually in Seattle, Spokane, or Portland without ever sitting through a traffic jam.
